Longweekend.my is a static, single-page web app. We collect the minimum data needed to operate the service and improve it.
If you submit your email, we store it and your filter preferences (year, AL days, state holidays you've enabled) so we can send you a one-time welcome email and, later, reminders 60 days before each long weekend.
We will never sell, share, or rent your email. Your email is stored in Cloudflare KV (our hosting provider's key-value store, hosted alongside the site). When we send you an email, we use Resend as our transactional email provider — they receive your email address only at the moment of sending, then forget it.
You can unsubscribe at any time by replying "unsubscribe" to any email we send, or by emailing hello@longweekend.my. We delete your record within 7 days.
Some links on this site (e.g. "Search Agoda", "Search Booking") are affiliate links. When you click one, the affiliate partner may set a cookie in your browser to attribute any booking to us. We have no access to what you do on Agoda/Booking after clicking — only whether a click occurred.
Affiliate cookies typically expire after 30 days. You can clear them at any time via your browser settings.

You can request to view, correct, or delete any data we hold on you at any time by emailing hello@longweekend.my. We will action all such requests within 14 days.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, with email-storage infrastructure (when it ships) hosted in the same region as our primary database. We will publish the specific region here once finalised.
If we make material changes to this policy (e.g. adding a third-party analytics provider or email service), we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, show a notice on the homepage for at least 30 days.
